The Columbus Soccer Club has selected PlayMetrics to be its new club management solution effective January 2026.

Effective for the 2026-2027 competitive soccer season, and to be used immediately for the new 2026 Fall recreational soccer league, the PlayMetrics platform will be used for all player registrations, team communication, field scheduling, and more. Stack Sports products will still be used through the remainder of the 2025-2026 season.

The PlayMetrics platform is much better integrated in its operation than the previous platform's attempt to make separate products work together. Built as a single solution rather than separate products makes it an easy choice for the club to manage its regular functions. Going forward, the PlayMetrics app will be used for team communication, attendance tracking, game and practice schedules (including immediate notifications to any schedule changes), and more.

Even players who only participate in the recreational pathway will benefit. The league schedules for the entire family will be available in the PlayMetrics app (or online), and important updates about upcoming league games will be pushed to parents directly from the League Director (such as weather cancellations). Along with our new recreational soccer league, all soccer players in Columbus will be united under a single organization using the same system no matter which pathway (competitive or recreational) they participate in. This will further allow a seamless transition between recreational and competitive for all soccer players in our community.
