The CSC Team Shop is Open (through Aug 15th)
If you haven’t had a chance to order your own CSC logo apparel, you’re in luck!  From now until August 15th, you and your family and friends can get your hands on CSC gear. A portion of the proceeds from our team shop does come back to Columbus Soccer Club, so this is a great way to promote and support our soccer club while looking great at the same time. But, you need to hurry, as the shop closes on August 15th!

Referees Needed!  Get Paid to Watch Soccer!
With several CSC teams participating in the upcoming Fall league season, our club has an opportunity to host games for future league seasons in Columbus at Wilderness Park. However, we need more local referees in order to be a host city.  Plus, there is always a need for referees for soccer tournaments as well.
This is a great way for players and parents to have a better understanding of the game, and make some good money as well. Referees are paid between $21-$55 (or more) per game in the middle.  Some referees head home from tournaments with a $400 check in hand from just a single weekend of soccer! If you or any of your kids are interested in becoming a referee, reply to this email and let us know.  We will follow up with more details on how to get certified and how the club will help cover the costs.
August 21st (Sunday) @ 630p.m. – CSC Board Meeting

Concussion Awareness

Columbus Soccer Club complies with the Nebraska Concussion Awareness Act. It is important for youth sports to understand the importance of the three key elements of this act:

  • • Education
  • • Removal of the injured athlete
  • • Proper clearance before allowing the player to return

Parents and Coaches should understand that these policies are designed to protect the player’s long-term health and safety. See the Nebraska State Soccer website for more information.

All members are reminded that the club has adopted club colors (Carolina blue, black, and white).  Information to order can be found on the parents page.
